Griffin Plastering were appointed by the United Arts Club to restore the main entrance to this beautiful Georgian Building back to its former Glory. Works included stripping all the paint off the plasterwork, moulds and fanlight, after all paint was removed moulding and plasterwork were repaired to match in perfectly with existing.
The United Arts Club situated in the heart of Georgian Dublin has since its foundation in 1907 been a meeting place for people with an interest in all aspects of the arts including; literature, music, painting, drama, film; and good conversation. The Club provides its members with a place to relax, meet and make new friends, and enjoy a variety of cultural events in friendly company and beautiful surroundings.
The club has a fascinating and rich cultural history reaching back over a hundred years. The founding members include WB Yeats, Countess Markievicz, and AE Russell.
