Capel Street - Dublin

Building work on this project consisted of:
  1. Removing columns in the middle of the building to nearly double the floor area of the existing shop. With floor area at a premium in the Capel Street this added great value to the shop. With these columns holding up four storeys above this had to be done with great care and a close relationship with the structural engineer as temporary works were of the up most of importance. This work was completed with no disturbance to the shop to the front.
  2. Revamping the basement which included fix the damp and existing ground works issues.
  3. Renovated existing living area upstairs.
  4. Fix damaged and leaking flat roof which is approximately  70 sq.m. We use fibreglass to cover the flat roof which gives great waterproof properties and also the client could choose their desired colour of the fiberglass and the flat roof is now being used as a decking/garden area.
